Overview

Medicare Advantage (MA) now covers over half of Medicare beneficiaries and accounts for over $350 billion in expenditures annually,¹ yet there is limited understanding of how utilization and efficiency under MA compare to Medicare Fee-for-Service (FFS), especially after adjusting for enrollment differences across the two programs.

This webinar, the third in a series authored by Harvard Medical School and Inovalon, delves into our latest research findings. We'll explore the outcomes

  • Does Medicare Advantage offer better quality outcomes compared to Medicare FFS?
  • How do MA plan design features influence enrollment decisions and address socioeconomic-related health disparities?
  • What is the impact of these features on healthcare utilization and cost?
