Aneesh Chopra is the President of CareJourney, an open data and analytics platform delivering a trusted, transparent provider ratings system anchored on value-based care measures. He served as the first United States Chief Technology Officer from 2009 to 2012 and authored "Innovative State: How New Technologies Can Transform Government” (2014).
He serves on the Boards of IntegraConnect, UpStream Care, Virginia Center for Health Innovation, and Chairs the George Mason Innovation Advisory Council. He earned his Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and Bachelor of Arts from The Johns Hopkins University.

Christie Teigland, Ph.D.

Christie has been dedicated to improving the outcomes and economics of healthcare for over 25 years. An economist and research statistician, she works with health plans, providers, and life science organizations to provide actionable, real-world data insights on performance measure development and testing, health disparities/equity, predictive analytics, comparative effectiveness, treatment patterns, and more. She serves as co-chair of the National Quality Forum (NQF) Scientific Methods Panel and is a member of the Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA) Quality Measure Expert Panel.

Boris Vabson, Ph.D.

Health Economist, Visiting Fellow in the Department of Health Care Policy, Harvard Medical School

Boris is a Seidman Fellow and Associate in the Department of Health Care Policy. He is also a Visiting Scholar at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business and Washington University's Envolve Center. His academic work focuses on health insurance payment systems and markets. Much of his research examines healthcare privatization in the context of Medicaid Managed Care and Medicare Advantage. He received his Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and was also a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He received his AB from Dartmouth in Economics and Mathematics.
